Dr. Ashish K. Chaturvedi, Scientist at Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM), Kerala, India, obtained Ph.D (2012) in Plant Physiology and M.Phil. (2006) in Environmental Plant Biology from High Altitude Plant Physiology Research Centre, HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India. His post doctorate work as research associate at Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi focused on climate change impact assessment on agricultural crops under enriched CO2 and high temperature environments. His research is mainly on desirable trait based phenotyping of plants for abiotic stress tolerance including response of crops under CO2 enriched warmer climate. He has been awarded SERB National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (2017), Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, Selected to receive grant from Institut de recherche pour le développment (IRD), Montpellier, France for presenting post doctoral research work in 3rd Global Science Conference, Climate Smart Agriculture CSA-2015 at Montpellier, France, Invited as Visiting Collaborator from Crop and Environmental Science Division (CESD), International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Philippines 2015.
