Anemia Impact Factor

Anemia is the most common blood condition where blood lacks enough healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin to carry adequate oxygen to the tissues. Hemoglobin of the red blood cells binds oxygen. Anemic person make to feel the person exhausted due to abnormalities in the red blood cells or due to low hemoglobin the cells in the body will not get enough oxygen. Women prone to chronic diseases are at increased risk of anemia. Each with its own reason there are many types of anemia that includes Iron deficiency anemia, Thalassemia, Aplastic anemia, Hemolytic anemia, Sickle cell anemia, Pernicious anemia and Fanconi anemia. Diagnosis of the anemia can be by two major approaches: kinetic approach which evaluates production, destruction and loss of RBC as well morphologic approach is by red blood cell size. The impact factor of journal provides quantitative assessment tool for grading, evaluating, sorting and comparing journals of similar kind. It reflects the average number of citations to recent articles published in science and social science journals in a particular year or period, and is frequently used as a proxy for the relative importance of a journal within its field. It is first devised by Eugene Garfield, the founder of the Institute for Scientific Information. The impact factor of a journal is evaluated by dividing the number of current year citations to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years.
