Amphetamine-Related Disorders

The disorder related to amphetamine are mainly depend upon the concentration of drug used by the person, and the amount of amphetamine used is the primary factor in determining the probability and severity of side effects. At normal pharmacological doses, the physical side effects of amphetamine vary extensively by age and from individual to individual person. side effects can include or from a vasovagal response, Raynaud's phenomenon (reduced blood flow to extremities), and tachycardia (increased heart rate). Common psychological effects of therapeutic doses can include increased alertness, apprehension, concentration, decreased sense of fatigue, mood swings (elated mood followed by mildly depressed mood), increased initiative, or wakefulness, self-confidence, and sociability.
