The continuous and heavy use of cocaine & its chemically derivative result in nervousness, unusual feelings of well-being, , and mood changes disorders. Overuses of cocaine cause elevated body temperature and a noticeable elevation of blood pressure that can be life-threatening result in arrhythmias and death. Anxiety, paranoia and restlessness can also occur, especially during the comedown. With excessive dosage, tremors, convulsions and increased body temperature are observed. Severe cardiac adverse events, particularly sudden cardiac death, become a serious risk at high doses due to cocaine's blocking effect on cardiac sodium channels. For a short period of use, there is a high risk that dependence will occur. Their use also increases the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction, lung problems in those who smoke it, , and sudden cardiac death.
