Lymphoma Surgery

The lymphatic system is a network of lymph nodes and interconnecting lymph vessels. Hodgkin lymphoma (formerly called Hodgkin's disease) is a cancer of the body's lymphatic system. Lymphomas are cancers of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell that is important in the immune system. There are 2 main types of lymphoma: Hodgkin's lymphoma (or Hodgkin's disease) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

Lymphoma is any of a group of blood cell tumors that develop from lymphatic cells. The name often refers to just the cancerous ones rather than all such tumors. Symptoms may include enlarged lymph nodes, fever, drenching sweats, weight loss, itching, and feeling tired. The enlarged lymph nodes are usually painless.
