Community Nursing Diagnosis

Community nursing diagnosis is a report made by the nurse that gives the focus of nursing care to be given to a patient. The diagnosis reveals an concern or state of health to direct care planning that falls in the nurse’s choice of practice. The “patient” may be an individual person, family, or community. The Registered Nurse aids as a diagnostician through the use of nursing diagnosis. This process involves making clinical decision taken from data collected. The pressing needs that the nurse can incline to are exposed through assessment findings by employing sound diagnostic reasoning. A diagnosis includes an individualized approach to the patient’s situation, personal preferences, and needs by serving to direct the enduring components of the nursing process. They are planning, implementation, and evaluation. Patient care and educational facilities need nurses to use NANDA-approved diagnoses and supporting terms in their clinical documents. NANDA-approved terminology serves as a blueprint to initiate the nursing process into the factual world of clinical practice.
