Injectable Cosmetic Treatments

Apart from laser and chemical treatments, various dermatologists prefer injectable cosmetics for many skin related complaints. The more safe and effective injectable treatments are Botox, and fillers. Fillers are injected through an ultra-fine needle beneath the surface of the skin, under the wrinkle or scar, the filler acts to restore volume and fullness to the skin, thereby softening and improving its appearance. Botox and Dysport are substances that act to block the body’s chemical signals from nerves to muscles in a specific area in order to relax targeted muscles and thereby soften or eliminate wrinkles caused by repetitive muscle movements.
