Upper Jaw Surgery

Upper jaw surgery or jaw surgery in medical terms known as Orthognathic surgery. This surgery is done, when the facial structure has defection in upper jaw area. The experts study the initial structure of patients defect by x-ray and with operational surgery upper jam will rectified.

Surgery is performed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon (OMS) to correct a wide range of minor and major skeletal and dental irregularities, including the misalignment of jaws and teeth.surgery to correct conditions of the jaw and face related to structure, growth, sleep apnea, TMJ disorders, malocclusion problems owing to skeletal disharmonies, or other orthodontic problems that cannot be easily treated with braces. Orthognathic surgery is performed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in collaboration with an orthodontist.
