Dr. G Narendra Kumar is working in the Department of Botany in Sathyabama University,Jeppiaar Nagar, Old Mamallapuram Road, Sholinganallur, Chennai 600 119, Tamil Nadu, India.His research interests are Enzymology, Industrial optimization of Bio-active compounds and Nanotechnology.His Major Papers are General and Applied Microbiology, Basic and Applied Immunology, Parasitology andMycology, Applied and Clinical Virology, Medical Entomology, Biotechnology and Molecular biology.

Biodegradation of Acid Blue 113 Containing Textile Effluent by Constructed Aerobic Bacterial Consortia: Optimization and Mechanism

A bacterial consortium was constructed using five different bacterial strains isolated from the effluent with the ability to degrade Acid Blue 113, a diazo dye.
