Biography
Dr. Romero-Freire received a double doctorate Degree with international doctorate mention by the University of Granada (Spain) in Earth Science and by the VU Amsterdam (The Netherlands) in Earth and Life Science (2015). She is working as postdoctoral research at the University of Lorraine (France). Her research is focused on soil, water and sediment pollution by heavy metals, and rare earth elements; the use of bioassays (ISO, OECD) for the study of metal toxicity in natural polluted areas; and the implementation of remediation techniques for polluted soils.Publications
