Sugar-based amphipathic compounds (BA-CnAG) were successfully prepared. Polyurethane (PU) was grafted with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) by the means of UV irradiation, and further modified with the BA-CnAG based on the ring opening of the epoxy groups.
