Biography
Dr. Vivek Agrahari obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC), Kansas City, MO, USA. Before joining the Ph.D. program at UMKC, he did his Master of Pharmacy studies with specialization in Medicinal & Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Shri G. S. Institute of Tech. and Science, Indore, India. He worked on NIH funded research projects aimed at developing bio-responsive formulations development for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS infections. His research is focused on nanoformulation development, preclinical safety evaluation, toxicology, tissue drug distribution, and HIV efficacy of bio-responsive nanomicrobicides. Dr. Agrahari has published several peer reviewed research papers, received several research awards and got opportunities to present his work at various international conferences. He is a member of several professional organizations such as the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), and Controlled Release Society (CRS). He is serving as a reviewer and also a part of the editorial board of various scientific journals.
