Biography
Dr. Mehmet Zeynel Cilek received M.Sc. in bioengineering from Ege University in Turkey, Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Graduate School of Medicine, Okayama University, Japan. He did his Postdoc trainings in medical genetics, regenerative medicine from Okayama University, Japan and University of Pennsylvania in United States. He joined to EBN School of Medicine, Zirve University in 2013 and worked as an assistant professor in the departments of Medical Genetics and Medical Biology. Currently he is a senior research associate in Sportology Center and the Department of Pathophysiology for Locomotive and Neoplastic Diseases, Juntendo University, Japan.
Research Interest
Osteoarthritis, Angiogenesis, Vascular Biology, Hypoxia, Cancer Biology, Stem Cell Biology, Regenerative Medicine, Gene Therapy, Medical Genetics.
