General anesthesia, although less commonly employed, is crucial for patients with severe dental anxiety or those undergoing extensive procedures. By emphasizing the importance of appropriate education and training for dentists, the paper underscores how adherence to established guidelines and protocols ensures patient safety and enhances clinical efficacy.
