Dear Readers,

On behalf of the Board of the Journal of Neuroinfectious Diseases (JNID) and my co-editors, I am glad to present the successful journey of the journal. The journal established in 2010 has now published 32 issues and 3 special issues. The journal is now getting indexed in different academic forums. All these are promising signs. Thank you to all of our Editorial Board members, writers, journalists, and readers for helping us achieve this honor.

I am delighted to mention that during the year 2020, all 6 issues of volume 11 were published online well within the time. In addition, a special issue with the title “Immunological and Inflammatory Disorders of the Central Nervous System” is released.

As a Scientific 黑料网 Peer-reviewed journal, JNID publishes the latest advancements in neurophysiology, prognosis, diagnosis & treatment of neurological infections that are caused by bacterial or viral infection which affects the nervous system and covers a wide arena of topics such as neurovirology, bacteria induced neuropathies, meningitis, viral encephalitis, neurocystercercosis, toxoplasmosis, neuroepidemiology, cerebral malaria, neuro-infections induced autoimmune disorders, etc.

In order to publish up-to-date, high-quality and original research, JNID is planning to coin special issues in 2021 as well. Among those special issues, I grateful to announce the first special issue title is “Inflammation in Nervous System Disorders”.

JNID is using Online Review and Editorial Tracking Systems for quality in review process. The Editorial Monitoring System is an online system for submitting, reviewing, and tracking manuscripts. Review processing is handled by members of the Journal of Neuroinfectious Diseases’ editorial board or outside experts; each citable manuscript must be approved by at least two independent reviewers before being accepted by the publisher. Authors may submit manuscripts and follow their progress of manuscript on the website.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Dr. Bachan Sharma, Dr. Akash Kumar Singh & Dr. Alan C Jackson in bringing out issues of JNID in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JNID, the office bearers and staff for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JNID and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 12 of JNID in scheduled time.

Warm Regards
