The dental pulp, housed within the pulp chamber and root canals of teeth, comprises a complex network of blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue that plays a crucial role in tooth development, nutrition, and sensory function [3]. Periapical tissues, including the periodontal ligament, alveolar bone, and surrounding structures, are intimately associated with the health and vitality of the dental pulp [4]. Root canal anatomy

The pulp extends from the crown of the tooth to the tips of the roots, where it connects with the surrounding tissues. When the pulp becomes inflamed or infected, it can lead to severe pain and eventual tooth loss if left untreated.
