This study examines the prevalence of atherosclerosis among adults aged 20 years and above, which stands at 13.8%. The analysis further explores trends in stroke mortality, highlighting a decline in mortality rates from stroke. Additionally, it provides insights into the prevalence of heart failure, estimated to affect about 30% of patients, and the high mortality rate associated with coronary heart disease, which was approximately 60% in 2010. The study underscores the significant impact of atherosclerosis on public health and the need for ongoing monitoring and intervention strategies.
