The experience of chronic pain is highly individualized, as its etiology can vary significantly among individuals [2]. Rheumatoid arthritis: An autoimmune disease that causes chronic inflammation and joint damage. Rheumatoid arthritis typically affects the small joints in the hands and feet, leading to pain, swelling, stiffness, and joint deformity.

Additionally, education and self-management techniques are essential components of chronic pain management. Individuals with chronic pain are encouraged to become active participants in their own care, learning about their condition, setting realistic goals, and developing self-care strategies to manage their pain and improve their overall quality of life.
