Abstract
Organ transplantation stands as a crucial treatment option for individuals suffering from end-stage organ failure, encompassing vital organs like the liver and heart. While alternative renal replacement therapies exist for those with endstage renal disease, kidney transplantation emerges as the preferred approach due to its superior outcomes in terms of both quality of life and cost-effectiveness. Globally, kidney transplantation stands as the most commonly performed type of organ transplantation. This abstract explores the significance of individual organ transplants in addressing end-stage organ failure, highlighting their role in enhancing quality of life and cost-effectiveness for patients worldwide.
