Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of music therapy in enhancing the well-being of advanced cancer patients receiving palliative care. Through a meta-analysis of recent studies, this research investigates the impact of music therapy on various outcomes, including psychological well-being, spiritual wellbeing, quality of life, and pain management. The findings underscore the potential of music therapy as a holistic intervention that not only alleviates psychological distress and pain but also promotes spiritual well-being and overall quality of life. The study highlights the importance of integrating music therapy into palliative care programs and calls for further research to explore its mechanisms and optimize its implementation. Ultimately, this article advocates for the inclusion of music therapy in clinical practice to enrich the end-of-life experiences of advanced cancer patients in palliative care.
