Abstract

This study explores the methodology of haploidentical bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and its posttransplantation management. Haploidentical BMT, involving the use of partially matched family donors, has emerged as a viable alternative for patients without fully matched sibling donors. The research outlines the key steps in the transplantation process, including donor selection, stem cell collection, conditioning regimen, and graft infusion. Post-transplantation care, including monitoring for graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), infection management, and immunosuppressive therapy, is also discussed. The study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the clinical approaches, challenges, and outcomes associated with haploidentical BMT, contributing to improved patient care and survival rates in this critical treatment modality.
