Patient-centered palliative care is a holistic approach that prioritizes the needs, preferences, and values of individuals facing serious illness. This model of care requires the integration of diverse medical, psychological, social, and spiritual perspectives to address the complex needs of patients and their families. Interdisciplinary collaboration is central to achieving this comprehensive approach, bringing together professionals from various disciplines—such as medicine, nursing, social work, psychology, and chaplaincy to deliver coordinated and compassionate care.
