Abstract

Through virtual consultations, remote monitoring, and the use of digital health technologies, telemedicine allows veterinarians to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of conditions without the need for in-person visits. This article explores the impact of telemedicine in veterinary care, focusing on how it improves access to veterinary services, enhances treatment outcomes, and addresses challenges such as cost, patient engagement, and the limitations of remote consultations. The benefits of telemedicine, including increased convenience, reduced travel times, and improved efficiency, are highlighted, as well as the regulatory and ethical considerations that accompany its widespread adoption
