Special Issue: Current research on Depression Disorders / Anger Management

Depression Disorder: Depressive disorders are characterized by severe sadness or persistent enough to interfere with function and sometimes by decreased interest or pleasure in activities. Exact cause is unknown but probably involves heredity, changes in neurotransmitter levels, altered neuroendocrine function, and psychosocial factors. Diagnosis is predicated based on previous on history. Treatment usually consists of medicine, psychotherapy, or both and sometimes electroshock or Rapid Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS).

Anger Management: Anger may be a normal emotion to feel, even as it's normal to feel happy or sad. However when anger isn't expressed during a healthy and positive manner it can become out of control and cause all types of problems not just for ourselves but also in family and private relationships. When anger is expressed during a negative way it can begin as being very aggressive, by becoming violent and in threatening others. This is often anger which is out of control which may quickly cause all types of trouble for yourself and a breakdown in relationships. Anger can have a disruptive effect on our thoughts and behavior. It interferes with our ability to think and act clearly and may lead us to act impulsively stupidly first. Anger is usually used as a defence barrier once we feel hurt or embarrassed.
