Biography
Dr Eugene Butkowski is the Research at Charles Sturt University and his areas of expertise are oxidative stress and inflammatory processes in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Cardiovascular disease and comorbidities. He is also the Casual lecturer in physiology at La Trobe University and Volunteer lawyer at Albury Wodonga Community Legal Service. Current interests include neuro and biofeedback. He is Experienced in Pathology Laboratory Management and Laboratory Quality Control.Publications
Alzheimer’s disease and dementia have been shown to be associated with various inflammatory markers. However the association between mild cognitive decline (MCI) and inflammation is not conclusive.
