Biography
Graduated in Agricultural Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1983), Master's in Plant Biology from the State University of Campinas (1989) and Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the State University of Campinas (2006). He is currently scientific researcher VI at the Botany Institute, Research Nucleus in Fanerogamas, currently located at the State Orchidarium Research Nucleus, as curator of the Frederico Carlos Hoehne Orchidarium. Has experience in Forest Resources and Forest Engineering, with an emphasis on Conservation of Wild Areas.

We present a temporal resolution in pollen and spore assemblages study, obtained from core sampling at a peat deposit in Serra de Botucatu, located at 900 m altitude in São Paulo State, southeastern Brazilian Plateau.
