Biography

Dr. Farzin Shabani is a Research Fellow in environmental modeling and climate change in the Department of Biological Sciences at Macquarie University. He also works at Flinders University as a Researcher in palaeo-ecological vegetation modelling. He is a guest lecture for Introduction to Geographical Information Systems GE at Flinders University. He applies global dynamic vegetation models and several bioclimatic envelopes to examine the impacts of future and palaeo climate change. Honours/ awards: Chancellor's doctoral research Medal for excellence in the University of New England Doctor Of Philosophy.
