Geoff Cockfield

Biography

Dr. Geoff Cockfield is Honorary Professor in the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Systems and the Rural Economies Centre of Excellence at the University of Southern Queensland. His research interests include rural politics and policy, natural resources management and policy and farm business decision-making. In his academic career he has been a Head of Department, a Deputy Dean led a research Centre. He was the 2018-19 Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Agriculture and Life Sciences at Kansas State University. currently work on contracted research projects and open to short-term contracts related to research,agricultural policy or university management.
