Biography

Dr. Leonardo Guzmán-Martínez is a research scientist for Fondecyt projects and International Programs. He is in charge of the Biomarkers Unit at the International Center for Biomedicine ICC. At present, he is in charge of the project to evaluate the pro-cognitive effects of the nutraceutic formulation Brain Up-10 in a “murine triple transgenic” model, with human genes with AD susceptibility, in collaboration with the Neuroscience Department of Harvard University and the Universidad de Antioquía, in Medellín Colombia. He is also involved in the pre-clinical and clinic aspect of this important research.
