Biography

I am a professor of accountancy at Arizona State University. Before joining ASU, I served on the faculty at Purdue University and Baruch College. Major research interests include corporate governance, shareholder activism, shareholder litigation, and corporate disclosure. My research has been published in leading accounting and finance journals including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, and Journal of Financial Economics, and featured by institutions such as The United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), and Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation.
