Biography

Dr. M. Syed Jamil Asghar was born in Patna, India. He obtained B.Sc. Engg. (Electrical), M.Sc. Engg. (Power Systems), and Ph.D. (Power Electronics) degrees from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. He had joined the Department of Electrical Engineering of the same University in 1983 as a Lecturer/ Assistant Professor. He is the Coordinator of DRS program under Special Assistance Program of University Grants Commission, Government of India.He has published more than 90 papers in referred journals and conference-proceedings including several single-authored papers in IEEE Transactions (USA).
