Biography

Norhaizan Mohd Esa received his Ph.D. degree in Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. Norhaizan Mohd Esa is a nutritional biochemist and her research interest is studying the effect of bioactive compound extracted from Malaysian herbs and by-products from rice and fruits on cancer by using in vitro and in vivo model. Besides cancer, she also studies the effect of this compound on other non-communicable diseases such as obesity, diabetes and coronary vascular diseases.
