Biography
I have been a PRM specialist since 2006. I received PhD in 2011 at the University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. The title of my PhD thesis was “Impact of physical exercises on bone strength, body composition and quality of life in premenopausal breast cancer women undergoing hormonal therapy”. I have been working as the Head in the Department of Cancer Rehabilitation in the Greater Poland Cancer Centre in Poznan for 9 years. Since 2012, I have been the Head of the Neurorehabilitation Ward at Bonifratres Marysiniensis in Piaski, Poland. My main research goal is comprehensive rehabilitation in the field of oncology and neurology. About 40 of my research papers have been published (e.g. in Acta Oncologica, European Journal of Physical Rehabilitation Medicine, Cancer Nurshing, Archives of Medical Sciences, etc), I also wrote 4 books chapters. I am an active member of the Polish Rehabilitation Society (PTReh), the Polish Society for Neurological Rehabilitation (PTRehN), the European Federation of Research in Rehabilitation (EFRR) and European Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ESPRM).
