Biography

Dr. Pranav Dinesh Mathur is a Young Scientist in the field of Auditory and Vestibular research. Pranav earned his Ph.D. from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT, USA in 2016. Pranav was born and raised in India. He completed his degree in Veterinary Sciences from Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University. Following which Pranav went on to pursue his Masters in Animal Genetics from GADVASU University in India. He started his research career during his Master’s education, wherein he was interested in the effect of selection on immunity. Pranav’s doctoral research suggested measures to early and differentially diagnose Usher syndrome. Ever since Pranav has published several lead and co-author research papers, review articles and conference presentations. Pranav has been an outstanding researcher and has received numerous scholarly awards during his education. Pranav currently works for a Pharmaceutical company dedicated to discover therapies for hearing loss.
