Biography

Dr. Seth is a research assistant professor at the Environmental Health Sciences Department, University of South Carolina. He has completed his education and training from Premier/renowned Institutions, Universities and Pharmaceutical Industry from India and USA. He has more than 13 years of research experience and trained numerous master and graduate students. He has contributed significantly to the field of the environment associated human disease especially environmental toxicology and immunology. He has worked on many national/international collaborative projects. He has published 28 peer reviewed research article and presented in more than 20 national/international conferences. He is passionate about identifying molecular cues and mechanism which connects environment and disease pathogenesis in order to improve human health. Dr. Seth also service Post-doctoral associations as a president and leading several post-doctoral fellows for their future endeavor. He has contributed to the scientific administration as a reviewer of several high impacted journals and grant proposals from the USA and abroad.

Research Interest

The environmental toxin in potentiating acute and chronic inflammation, liver injury and metabolic disease,Immune modulation in toxin-induced NASH and NAFLD, Mechanism of metabolic alteration in liver pathophysiology, Oxidative stress-induced dysregulation of miRNAs and defective proteins and downstream signaling in toxicity associated NASH, Search for novel biomarkers and therapeutic intervention in an early stage of the NASH progression.
