About the Journal

Journal of Clinical and Experimental Endocrinology is a newly launched peer-reviewed, ºÚÁÏÍø journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, clinical studies and case reports in all areas of endocrine system and its specific diseases like Diabetes, Thyroid disease, etc. It covers from molecular biology to clinical research in all aspects of these fields. Endocrinology is a branch of biology and medicine concerned with the physiology, metabolism and disorder of the endocrine system. The journal is using Editorial Manager System for quality in peer review process.

Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

Clinical and Experimental Endocrinology is associated with October 30-November 01, 2017 Chicago, Illinois, USA. Journal of Clinical and Experimental Endocrinology is an academic journal which aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of Research articles, Review articles, Case reports, Short communications, etc. in all areas of the field and making them freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide. You can find a clear view of peer review process by clicking here.

Endocrine Oncology

Endocrine Oncology is the study of hormones which cause tumors. There are many kinds of tumors which can be categorized as Gastrointestinal (midgut carcinoids, appendix carcinoids, etc.), Pulmonary (Large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma, Small cell lung cancer), Pancreatic (Insulinoma & Glucagonoma), Adrenals (Adrenocortical carcinoma, Pheochromocytoma) and tumour syndromes like Multiple endocrine neoplasia.

Molecular Endocrinology

Molecular endocrinology involves the study of genetic and biochemical pathways, synthesis and secretions of extracellular signals (hormones, neurotransmitters, etc.) and to the understanding of cellular regulatory mechanisms involved in hormonal control.

Endocrine Disorders

Endocrine Disorders constitute abnormality of one of the body’s endocrine glands. They are grouped into two categories: Endocrine disease that results when a gland produces too much or too little of an endocrine hormone, called a hormone imbalance. Endocrine disease that results due to the development of lesions (such as nodules or tumors) in the endocrine system, which may or may not affect hormone levels.

Adrenal Gland

Adrenal gland produces variety of hormones like adrenaline and the steroids aldosterone and cortisol. Addison’s disease is caused by adrenal insufficiency.

Thyroid Gland

Thyroid gland is the largest gland of endocrine system. It produces two types of hormones - thyroxin (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Hyperthyroidism occurs when thyroid gland produces excess of thyroid hormones and results in Graves’ disease.

Thyroid Nodules

Thyroid nodules are growths of cells/ lumps which appear within normal thyroid gland. It leads to thyroid neoplasm which is non-cancerous but only small percentage appears as thyroid cancer.

Diabetes

Diabetes is a lifelong disease caused by hormonal imbalance of insulin produced by Pancreas. High levels of blood glucose can damage the tiny blood vessels in your eyes, heart, kidneys, or nervous system. Diabetes especially if left untreated can eventually cause stroke, heart disease, kidney disease, blindness, and nerve damage to nerves in the feet.

Pancreatic Disorders

Pancreas plays a major role in digestion and hormone production. Disorders of pancreas include acute pancreatitis, hereditary pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.

Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process (FEE-Review Process):

Journal of Clinical and Experimental Endocrinology is participating in the Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process (FEE-Review Process) with an additional prepayment of $99 apart from the regular article processing fee. Fast Editorial Execution and Review Process is a special service for the article that enables it to get a faster response in the pre-review stage from the handling editor as well as a review from the reviewer. An author can get a faster response of pre-review maximum in 3 days since submission, and a review process by the reviewer maximum in 5 days, followed by revision/publication in 2 days. If the article gets notified for revision by the handling editor, then it will take another 5 days for external review by the previous reviewer or alternative reviewer.

Acceptance of manuscripts is driven entirely by handling editorial team considerations and independent peer-review, ensuring the highest standards are maintained no matter the route to regular peer-reviewed publication or a fast editorial review process. The handling editor and the article contributor are responsible for adhering to scientific standards. The article FEE-Review process of $99 will not be refunded even if the article is rejected or withdrawn for publication.

The corresponding author or institution/organization is responsible for making the manuscript FEE-Review Process payment. The additional FEE-Review Process payment covers the fast review processing and quick editorial decisions, and regular article publication covers the preparation in various formats for online publication, securing full-text inclusion in a number of permanent archives like HTML, XML, and PDF, and feeding to different indexing agencies.
