Molecular detection of cryptosporidiosis in children in Duhok City, Kurdistan Region, Iraq

Abstract
The study was performed to detect Cryptosporidiumin children that attended Hevi Teaching Pediatric Hospital in Duhok city/Kurdistan region of Iraq. Stool samples were collected from children with or without diarrhea included both sexes and different age groups ranging from less than 1 – 12 year old. A total of 122 stool samples collected from children were examined to detect Cryptosporidiumby conventional PCR that carried out at Duhok Research Center in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
