Abstract
鈥淭he eye exam does not stop there.鈥� Eye care practitioners have the privilege and ability to diagnose a variety of neurologic conditions based on ocular findings. By the utilization of imaging and laboratory tests, we can extend our reach beyond the phoropter to aid in the diagnosis and management of our patients鈥� ocular and systemic health. We have the duty and ability to initiate and coordinate appropriate care in a timely manner for our patients. By actively participating and interacting with other specialists, we establish our vital role in the health care system. We will present a variety of clinical cases that demonstrate the importance of utilizing serological testing and imaging to establish a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.Biography
