Abstract
Apolipoproteins (APO) are proteins linked with lipoproteins in different proportions and play significant roles in several diseases. Different types of APOs, including apolipoproteins A, B, C, D, E, H and J have been reported. These proteins have wide-ranging and certain roles in normal physiology in our body. Their serological levels have strong association with clinical conditions in different diseases like cancer, amyloidosis, hyperglyceridemia etc. These APOs are used as diagnostic and prognostic markers to calculate possibility for some serious diseases. In this study we have constructed protein-protein interaction network among all the APOs to see the possible link of APO family in the progression of metabolic disorders related diseases.
