Obesity Complications

Some common causes of obesity are eating poor diet rich in high fat and calories, no physical exercise, less sleep leading to hormonal changes, genetical and hereditary factors, old age leading to lesser metabolism, pregnancy, etc. Some health related issues like polycystic ovary syndrome may also lead to weight gain. However, there are several complications that arise due to obesity.

These complications which are related to obesity include diabetes, sweating, snoring, joint and back pain, depression, breathlessness, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease and stroke, etc. Obesity during pregnancy may sometimes lead to several complications that may include hypertension, gestational diabetes, premature delivery, birth injury to infant, etc.
