Jun Lu

Biography

Professor Jun Lu gained PhD and MSc degrees from University of Auckland and BSc degree from East China Normal University. He joined AUT since 2009 and established the Biomedical Science major. He specialises in pharmacology, natural bioactive compounds/products, nutrition, metabolic diseases, cancer, and food science. He is currently situated in School of Science and School of Public Health and Interdisciplinary Studies. He is also a management team member of the Institute of Biomedical Technology. Professor Jun Lu is an Associate Investigator of Maurice Wilkins Centre for Molecular Diversity.
