About the Journal

Clinical & Experimental Neuroimmunology deals with research on infectious disorders associated with immune system and nervous system. Neuro-AIDS, multiple sclerosis, leukoencephalopathies, several opportunistic infections, myasthenia gravis, myelitis and immune disorders of peripheral nervous system. Clinical Neuroimmunology deals with patient care, diagnostic services, novel treatments and research on neurological infections.

Journal of Clinical & Experimental Neuroimmunology covers all areas of neuroscience, molecular immunology and clinical and experimental immunology. It deals with neuroimmunlogical disorders such as multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, dermatomyositis and many disorders of peripheral nervous system. Articles such as research papers, review articles, commentaries and short communications leading to the development of clinical and experimental immunology are welcome.

Journal of Clinical & Experimental Neuroimmunology is using Editorial Tracking System for quality in review process. Editorial Tracking is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems used by most of the best open access journals. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of journal or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor's approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.

Neuroinflammation

Neuroinflammation is the term related to inflammation in nerves tissues. It may be commenced in response to several issues like including infection, brain surgery, toxic metabolites and . It is the chronic inflammation which is typically engaged with neurodegenerative diseases. Typical cause of chronic neuroinflammation includes: Toxic metabolites, autoimmunity, aging microbes, traumatic brain injury, air pollution and passive smoke.

AIDS-associated Dementia

HIV is a type of virus which gradually attacks our immune system, which is our body’s natural defence against illness. It limits an individual ability to lead a normal life. In later stages people may suffer from seizures, psychosis and loss of bladder or bowel control. The symptoms of this disease varies from one person to other.

Autism Spectrum Disorders

Autism is a neurodevelopmental syndrome that is defined by deficits in social reprocity, communication and by unusual restricted. It is signalized by: Unremitting slippage in social communication and interaction across various contexts; Confined tedious patterns of behavior, interests and activities; must be observed in the initial developmental phase(typically recognized in the first two years of life); and, Symptoms cause clinically remarkable ruination in social, occupational, or other important areas of current functioning.

Huntington's Disease

It is considered as neurodegenerative genetic disorder that devastate muscle coordination, movement and lead to decline and behavioral symptoms. The symptoms may vary from individual to individual and affected members of the same family, but mostly progress expectably. The earliest problem is with mood and cognition.

Immunocytochemistry

ICC is most common widely used laboratory technique that is used to observe the location or position of a specific protein or antigen in cells by involving the use of significant primary that binds to it. The primary antibody permits the observation of the protein under the effect of microscope when it is occupied by a secondary antibody that consists of conjugated fluorophore.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

ALS and other motor neuron diseases are specified by steady, unabated, escalating degeneration of corticospinal tracts, anterior horn cells and bulbar motor nuclei. Symptoms vary in extremity and may include muscle weakness and atrophy, fasciculations, emotional lability and respiratory muscle weakness.

Myasthenia Gravis

It can be either an autoimmune or congenital disease that results in fluctuating muscle weakness and fatigue. In mostly cases muscle weakness is caused by moving antibodies that chokes acetylcholine receptors at the postsynaptic receptors at the neuromuscular junction.

Brain Tumors

It is also known as intracranial neoplasm. It results when cells form within the brain. There are two types of tumor: Cancerous tumor and Benign tumor. Cancerous tumor can be further divided into primary tumor which initiate within the brain and the secondary tumor that expands from somewhere other also known as brain tumors.

Dendritic Cell Immunology

It is also known as antigen presenting cells (accessory cells) of the immune system. It functions by processing antigen material and presenting it on to the cell surface of mainly T-cells of the immune system. They work as messengers between the innate and adaptive immune system.

Neuroendocrine Immunology

The immune function of neuroendocrine regulation is important for the existence during stress or infection as well as to regulate immune responses in inflammatory diseases. Glucocorticoids acts as main effector end point of the neuroendocrine system.

Neuro-Oncology

Neuro-oncology is a subspecialty of medicine and oncology that focuses on tumors of the central nervous system (CNS), including the brain and spinal cord. This field addresses both primary brain tumors and secondary tumors that have metastasized from other parts of the body. Neuro-oncology is a rapidly evolving field, driven by advances in genetics, imaging technology, and therapeutic strategies, aimed at improving outcomes and quality of life for patients with CNS tumors.

Brain Aging

Aging of the brain is a process of transformation of the brain in older age, including changes all individuals experience and those of illness (including unrecognised illness).. Aging is a major risk factor for most common neurodegenerative diseases, including mild cognitive impairment, dementias including Alzheimer's disease, cerebrovascular disease, Parkinson's disease, and Lou Gehrig's disease. While much research has focused on diseases of aging . The brain is very complex, and is composed of many different areas and types of tissue, or matter. The different functions of different tissues in the brain may be more or less susceptible to age-induced changes.[6] The brain matter can be broadly classified as either grey matter, or white matter. Grey matter consists of cell bodies in the cortex and subcortical nuclei.
