Biography

Dr. Roukis is an Attending Podiatric Surgeon within the Department of Orthopedics, Podiatry, and Sports Medicine at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. Dr. Roukis was Chief of the Limb Preservation Service in the Vascular/Endovascular Surgery Service at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, where he was also Director of the Limb Preservation Complex Lower Extremity Surgery and Research Fellowship which is a Council on Podiatric Medical Education accredited 2-year program.  He is on the Board of Directors for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a Faculty Member of the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgery and holds Adjunct Clinical Professor Faculty positions at the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine; California School of Podiatric Medicine at the Samuel Merritt University; Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery; Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine; Midwestern University/College of Health Sciences; Western University of Health Sciences/College of Podiatric Medicine; and Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Research Interest

Dr. Roukis research interests are Revision total ankle replacement, Foot and ankle arthroscopy/endoscopy, Foot and ankle trauma, Foot amputations and diabetic limb salvage procedures.
