Biography
Marcello Chieppa graduated at the University of Bari in 1999 and moved to the Mario Negri Institute in Milan before joining the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda in 2003 to study the cross talk between intestinal dendritic cells epithelial cells. In 2009 he joined the National Institute of Gastroenterology in Castellana Grotte in Italy to work on new approaches for the treatment of chronic inflammatory syndromes. His research target is the possibility to bend dendritic cells inflammatory response towards tolerance.
