Work experience: 1982-1986 young researcher at Lithuanian Institute of Animal Science, Department of Pig Production. 1986 -1994 – researcher at Lithuanian Institute of Animal Science, Department of Pig Production. 1994 -2001 – senior researcher at Lithuanian Institute of Animal Science, Department of Animal Hygiene and Ecology. 2001 – 2010 – senior researcher and director of Institute of Animal Science of Lithuanian Veterinary Academy,. Since 2010 - senior researcher and director of Animal Science Institute of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
Research Interest
Animal housing technologies, animal welfare, animal nutrition. Challenges of climate change and conservation of genetic resources of farm animals.
