Abstract
Otolaryngology (ENT) is a subject with very complicated anatomy having very small structures. I thought let me make it easy with a better understanding, so used our very own hands as models to understand the complex anatomy easily. This method has proven to be very easy to teach, explain and understand. Students, doctors and patients are mutually benefited due to better understanding of the diseases too. Larynx, also called the voice box is a vital organ in the Head and Neck region. I have demonstrated hand model of Larynx. This will definitely benefit in relating the structures and the basic concept of how our Larynx is and how the patient芒�?�?s Larynx would be. Hope this method will make us correlate the Laryngeal structures better.Biography
D Vijaya Govindarajan has completed Medicine from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Bangalore University and Postdoctoral studies from Rajiv Gandhi University. He is the Honorary Tutor at Government Medical College, Vellore and does rural practice in villages nearby. He has given lectures in national conferences in India and in several medical colleges.
