Milton Groppo

Faculty of Philosophy Sciences and Letters of Ribeirao Preto City, Department of Comparative Biology- University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Biography

Milton Groppo is a Botanist, Professor at University of São Paulo since 2008. He is the Head of the Laboratory of Plant Systematics, Curator of Herbarium of the Department of Biology, Ribeirão Preto School of Philosophy, Science and Literature (Herbarium SPFR).  His main research is on Neotropical flora, especially in families Rutaceae (Sapindales), Aquifoliaceae (Aquifoliales), and floristics. Intense collaborations with researchers from pharmacology and chemistry fields.
