Biography

The author is currently pursuing doctoral research on ‘Socio Legal Analysis of Rehabilitation Process of Victims of Conflict in Jammu and Kashmir’, under Faculty of Law, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, Kashmir. She has many national and international research papers to her credit and is author of the book ‘Protection of Children’s Rights in Islam – Special reference to Orphans’ published by Lap Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany (ISBN: 978-3-659-37071-7). She has a live and stimulating interest in the field of human rights and humanitarian affairs.

This work explores empirical and theoretical perspectives on land acquisition for the protection of environment accompanied by rehabilitation of the evicted community.
