Biography

Donna Cech, PT. DHS, PCS is the Program Director and Associate Professor of the Midwestern University Physical Therapy program, teaching life span development and pediatric physical therapy courses. Dr. Cech is certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy (1986-present) and received her Doctor of Health Science degree from the University of Indianapolis. Dr. Cech’s scholarly agenda focuses on pediatric physical therapy services, standardized assessment, and development of clinical decision making skills in health care professionals.   In addition, she serves infants, children and their families in a pediatric physical therapy home health practice. Dr. Cech is the co-author of the book Functional Movement Development across the Life Span, 3rd edition.

Research Interest

Dr. Donna Cech research interests include include trauma, knee surgery, dance medicine, wound healing and physical rehabilitation.
