Biography
Dr. Farzana Jasmine completed her medical graduation in 1987 from the Institute of Post-Graduate Medicine and Research (IPGMR), Dkaka, Bangladesh and Ph.D in medicine from Medical Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1994. From 1994 to 2001, she worked as attending physician and then as consultant Endocrinologist at National Health Care Network, a sister organization of Bangladesh Institute of Research and rehabilitation in Diabetes Endocrine and Metabolic disorders (BIRDEM), Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2002, she joined Colubmia University, New York where she completed her post-doctoral fellowship and then worked as a faculty member in the department of Epidemiology till 2006.
